You could try using perming lotion and combing it straight, or Boots has brought out a straightening kit to use at home. I've got one but I'm a wee bit scared to try it out. It costs around £15, so it's a big saving compared to a salon, although I'm not sure what the results are!

Use a blow drier if u really don't want to straighten it. Some lorieal studio line hot straight cream is great to get you're hair straight and protect it! all you have to do is put a small bit in you're hair after washing it then work it through with a brush! when you've done that blow dry you're hair straight

I've found that if you take a paddle brush, or a round brush (either one works great), take your dryer, and place it on the outer side of your hair. Then take your brush, and place it under your hair. Slowly, very slowly, pull both of them down together. Thats one way you can do it. Or you could buy the Hair Designer by Conair. That works the same way. You just pull it down very very slowly in your hair. Trust me. Both ways work the same way.

And don't worry, I have a natural wave too. So, I should know! :P

well i have waves and kinks in my hair. ive found it is asier straightened when long as it is heavier. but you could use serums like tres emme straighteneing serum or the loreal one and wash it before u sleep for some reason m hair is alot more manageable if i sleep on it! some shampoos tend to make it more straighter. ive just had layers put in to get the straight look out just to make it catch the light more

I use straightners, but my friend had a chemical treatment that cost her about £100 done in the hairdressers, it meant that she could wash her hair and leave it to dry on its own without it turning wavy, the downside was that it also dried her hair out and she had to resort to intensive conditioning for a while afterwards.

Other than that I'm not too sure what else you can do, sorry hun.

My hair is the same way (long) and it takes forever to straiten, but looks messy if I don't straiten it.

What works best for me is to keep mine just below chin length so that the waves don't look frizzy or messy. I also use moisturizing shampoo and conditioner. If I want it strait, I can blow dry it pretty quickly, but it looks good with a bit of wave, too.

You can go to a salon and ask for a Japanese Perm. The people in the Salon use special tools and chemicals to make it permanently straight for a while, like a few months. But don't worry, they ensure that your hair won't fall out.

My hair is kind of like that and even straighteners wouldn't work. My mom bought me this conditioner though, Aussie or something like that, it made my hair really soft and it actually got straighter when I started using that stuff. Just make sure you get the deeep replinishing kind, it works the best and smells really good.

take a while drying it with precision and make sure every bit is pretty straight.

the overall effect should be similar.

also, i'd use some anti-frizz creams and shampoos to stop the wave from appearing over a small time.

good luck

If you go to the hairdressers, they can put in a solution which is the reverse for curling, which straightens the hair permantely.
