I'm a 21 yr old female and i have had a few dates with this guy. i thought he was keen but ... well, he's been very quiet lately. BUT when he does text me it's "darling" this and "gorgeous" that. I'm so confused!

I learned the hard way that you shoudn't text. My greeting on my cell is "DO NOT TXT". That way anytime my fingers get itchy to txt I am reminded.

Girl don't be a fool for him, it's a reason why he's not texting you back. Either he's with another girl or doing something he have no business doing, so if I was you I wouldn't text again. And when he decides to text back I would let him see how it feels, don't always seem so available to him- I would play the same game.

I don't think you should text more than once. Wait for his response. He could be busy or not want to be bothered now. Either way if you want a chance with him don't make yourself look desperate or seeming lonely, men want a challenge, let him chace you a while. When he texts you back (and he will) wait a hour or so before answering. Good luck.

it depends on the time frame between texts cause he could be busy or doing something with family or working. let him text you. try not to text him for a day play hard to get. give it enough time and he should text you back.

why don't you call him? I'm not a big fan of text messaging mainly because it's hard to express yourself if you can't hear the person's voice. (Also I'm really slow at it lol!) If he doesn't answer then don't text message him back because it seems a little desperate.

Sounds like the kind of guy who only gets in touch when HE wants something, thats why he turns on the charm. Maybe try texting him again tomorrow, if he doesn't reply then i'd forget about him.

No I wouldn't text him again......he got the message.....maybe something is going on in his home life or family life that has left him quiet or maybe he is seeing someone else. Let him get back to you.....it's only been a few dates go about your life........

Difficult question. I e-mailed a guy for two years with no answers at all the last year. I felt I was in contact with him and he never told me to stop writing even when I directly asked him. I can guarantee you will probably hurt or feel awkard around him if it isn't a two way relationship.

I think to text someone to ask "how are you" is not really something to get back to right away...it is a simple question that can wait. Why not call him instead?
