If you're thinking about doing suicide, I got five good reasons why you shouldn't. Life gets better, and trust me, every suicide has always ended in mourning, because the people you think didn't care do care, but by then it is too late.

And suicide is a sin, so God might not forgive you. He probably will, but still.....

Don't Do It!

Suicide is no joke. i watched a documentary on TV how some people tried to commit suicide off the Golden Gate Brdge and survived, but regretted ever having done that. If you are serious about committing suicide then STOP! God loves you and he doesnt want you to go to hell. And what kind of question is that? If you have Christ in your heart you wouldnt even have those kind of thoughts. God Bless!!!

No. We have no license to sin. You cannot ask for forgiveness before you commit the sin and have your plea work. Suicide is murder. Once the act of murder is complete you cannot repent to get right with God because you will be dead and on your way to judgment day when the Lord will cast you to hell. Don't do it. Persevere through whatever it is you're going through. You must keep the faith, not listen to the devil who is telling you to kill yourself. Read the NT Bible. Roger twisted this Scripture to make it mean the opposite of what it does. Learn the truth: 1 Corinthians 3:16,17 - Do you not know that you are the temple of God and that the Spirit of God dwells in you? If anyone defiles the temple of God, God will destroy him. For the temple of God is holy, which temple you are. ~ Note: The word temple is a metaphor. It means the spiritual temple consisting of the saints of all ages joined together by and in Christ. So ourselves are the temple with the Holy Spirit dwelling in us. To defile the temple means to lead away from the state of holiness in which you ought to abide. Then God will destroy you and you will perish. Some people want to think the word temple here is only about a church building. But the truth is that the word temple refers to the individual believer just like in 1 Corinthians 6:19. God does not destroy and to make perish a church building. The word states God will destroy him, not it. What, you think God is going to make the building catch on fire and burn it down to destroy it? No way is this about a building. It is about each of our own individual spiritual lives that God can make perish.

I would not want to risk my soul burning in eternity to find out. I always thought that you can only ask forgiveness for sins that you have committed. If you have not sinned yet, how can you ask for forgiveness? I wouldn't want to risk it. What if you were wrong and He won't? God gave you life. It is not our place to try to take away any thing that God has given us in love. May God Bless

The idea of forgiveness of sins, is repentance. You can't repent of your sins when you are dead. its too late. People who talk about suicide or ask questions like this usually are searching for help in some way. It feels like you are reaching out to all of these people, please talk face to face with someone soon and pray about your life. God Bless

Repentance means to turn away from your sins. A complete turn around.

No, you cant ask for forgiveness then do the act...it's like your mocking Him...put it like this if you cheated on your bf/gf and you ask him/her to forgive you then turn around and do it again...How would that look? Your are not being truthful. There is a verse that God says that "I giveth, and taketh away"...your soul belongs to Him (if you believe in Christianity). He can only give you life and take it away.

Will your father forgive you when you want to come home? Same story! If you have a serious problem he either allows you to come home or prevents it.
I knew of a guy who tried to kill himself 8 times; each time in a different way. When he was released from hospital the last time, the nurse ask him when he will be back. He answered: 'I give up. I tried 8 times and did not succed. I'm obviously not suposed to kill myself.' Then he left the hospital, went down the steps, fell and broke his neck.
The moral; if God does not want you to kill yourself he will save you...untill it is his will as well.

To repent is to acknowledge that what you did was unrightous in the eyes of God, and ask for His forgivness. To go out and do exactly what you repented for after you have acknowldeged it a sin, No God will not forgive that. That makes you a reprobate.

To know what is unrightous and a sin in the eyes of God, and go out and do is again, inspite of your so called repentenance, just is mocking the sacrifice that Jesus made for you on the cross. you were never sincere to begin with. The very thought of that makes me sick.

According to a lot of theologians, forgiveness is based on genuine repentance, and what kind of repentance is there when someone goes ahead and deliberately does something he knows is wrong? And the arrogance for asking for forgiveness in advance!

I hope your interest in this matter is merely academic. But if you ever feel like packing it in, get help! My advice to others is the best reason not to end your life: Why give your detractors the satisfaction? Better to live so you can eventually piss on their graves.
