A month or so ago I heard of a discovery of a 3 year old girls skeletal remains in Africa. I beleive they said she was the oldest skeleton to date and her hands/fingers were long and curved for tree climbing like a monkey? It would seem to me to be the missing link between man and ape but why is it not more publicised?

I guess it would be all what you want to believe. I mean if you really want to believe that mankind evolved from some apelike ancestor have at it. It's kinda sad though. That pretty much means life is meaningless to you and all the athiests amongst us. Christians believe that a higher intelligence we call God actually created us and have given every one of us a soul. This soul we posess seeks meaning. The problem is that man is born spriritually dead and cannot understand the things of the spirit. You can search all your life for meaning and satisfaction but you will not find it in a bottle, drugs, sex, material possessions or anything else. It takes a personal relationship with God through his son, Jesus Christ to experience perfect peace and the joy of the Lord. He who has the Son has life and he who does not have the son, does not have life.
You see, Jesus died for our sins so that we could know God. Without Jesus' sacrifice on the cross, we could never know God. Those that haven't entered into a personal relationship with God will never have life.
To know God you must realize that you are a sinner in need of salvation. You have to acknowledge that Jesus died on the cross for your sins and ask God to forgive you. Once you do this and really mean it with all your heart then you will be born-again and enter into everlasting life. For we are saved by grace through faith. Not by works so no man can boast. Grace means being given a gift that we do not deserve. If I gave you a present you would not have to pay for it. It is free. Once forgiveness is given to you from God you will become a new creature and all things will become new to you. Now you will be spiritually alive. Reborn. Now you can walk with God the rest of your life.

they have been finding so called missing links for decades now and the theories seem to vanish just as quickly as the supposed evidence.
