What would you do if you had to choose between love and studying in the most beautiful country in the world New York City to make your dream comes true? I chose the second one but i am not sure yet! Please tell me your opinions. Thank you in advance.

i think you're right with your decision of taking care of your "head" first before your "chest" because i too for an instance is logical than emotional. i chose to study somewhere far from my family due to a scholarship grant than to study on a place nearby while my family's having a huge problem on my tuition.
In your case, for example you took care of "love" first, would you think your relationship would be stable enough with the problems brought by financial instability due to the reason you didn't took care of your studies first? i think not. And in additional if you really love that guy, you will think of your (you two) future first, and "IF" he loves you the way you love him, he will wait for you... ^_^

In my situation... I would choose love... but that would also be choosing the choice where all of my dreams would come true. Everyone dreams for different things.. and you should do whatever you can to make those a reality. True love is never planned... it's a great accident that happens along the way. Find your way and love will happen when you least expect it.

try to have both. But depending on your age, go for studies.
If you choose the wrong one, and dont have your studies, how are you going to survive in case love does not work? You have to be wise.
By the way, New York City is not a country, but a city.
Good luck.

Dear Music Princess,
This may not help but I probably would have to think about it like what are you studying, and where? And things like, HOw much do you love him and Are you and him both Okay with long didstance relationships?
Oh and even though you chose to study in the exotic country, I would try and stay in touch with your love, just in case you ever come back so you can still be Okay with him and let him no that you love him! If I helped no problem, and if not Sorry for taking your time!

Sincerly,
Alex!

I've learned that love comes and goes, no matter how madly in love the two of u are now, a year down the road, u might not feel the same way about eachother, first take care of yourself, educate yourself, become stable in your career, and then worry about love because if he/she truly loves you than they will support you and stand behind u in anything u will do. im married and love my wife to death, and im supporting her through school, simply because i want her to be educated and respected, but most importantly if i died in 5 years i want her to be finacially stable. whats happening in your life now is a stepping stone to the rest of your life, love comes and goes, knowledge lasts forever. go with studying, if your lover really loves you, they will be there when your done.....

NYC. Its you first, everything else second. If you really wanna be with the guy, have him come out to New York City, if he doesn't, then the relationship isnt that special after all.

If it is true love it will survive the absence. If not true love than you still have made the right decision of going. I don't mean to make light of your feeling, but you don't ever want to blame him for a miss opportunity in life.

You must follow your dreams first. If you go for love first then later on you will probably regret not going for your dreams. And then you will take it out on the person you love. You will find love again but the chance to go for your dreams may be gone forever unless you go for your dreams now.

Why do you have to choose? Why can't you have both? Besides love will be there when you get done with your studying if it is true love. If not then it wasn't meant to be.
