I have curly frizzy hair that I straighten almost every day. If i dont straighten it turns puffy. But recently my bangs have become dry and brittle. What can I do to make it healthier?

Stop straightening for a while, your hair needs a break every now and then. If you absolutely have to straighten your hair, do rollers instead of blow drying. Another thing you can do is find a hairdresser that specializes in cutting curly hair and get you hair trimmed every 2-3 months, by not trimming every couple of months, you're slowing down the growth process, those dry ends need to be cut off to promote growth.

Straightening can damage hair. I suggest switching to a nice straightening shampoo like TRESemme or Pantene(your choice) then use a deep conditioning products (pantene's is the best). Use a hair sunscreen when going out (like Kerastase). Don't use lots of products.

You can use argan oil after a shower while your hair is still damp. If you get a good brand then it won't be oily or weigh your hair down. I use the Pro Natural’s brand of moroccan argan oil because salons use it a lot. It makes hair soft and shiny, plus its a heat protectant. I use it anyway because I have frizzy hair. Its online if you want to see it for yourself.

I have used olive oil for a similar problem. With my hair, I could make my hair look oily, the olive oil is gone totally in a few hours., but it keeps my hair from puffing.

Instead of using the flat iron try going for a visit to the hairdresser or use shampoo and conditioner that say anti-frizz. You can use cream for your hair that flattens your hair.

Instead of just straightening it dry. Add sum hairspray.I recommend V05. It's in a red bottle.

if i were you i would cut my hair into short, like right above shoulders, but instead of straightning it i would get some great styling products and let those curls be revealed!!

A deep oil treatment can help, but not always.
