l had a very good friendship with my friend until Tuesday. What happened is l was supposed to walk home with her after school, but l had forgotten that l had promised some girls to walk with them coz l had to give one of them her money back, so we had to pass through the shops and l forgot to tell my friend.

She got really angry with me and l told her l was gonna call her when l get home, but then she texted me and said she doesn't think she'll ever speak to me again coz of that. l told her l was sorry, but she couldn't listen and up to now she's not talkin to me. lt's making me feel bad (l'm really hurt & finding it hard to forget about it coz that has never happened to me before) and l don't want that to interfer with my exams since l got mocks next week.

I know that this is hard, but this too shall pass. She is hurt that you chose another friend over her. I am sure you would be hurt too. Explain what happened, and tell her that you would like to try and get past this. If she says no, then wait a bit. She will come around. This is part of your age. Kids get mad all the time at their friends. The best thing is to plead your case, and let her make a decision.. Dont let it affect your school work. She will come back I am sure of it. Good Luck!

Are you any good at writing a letter? Maybe you could do that and put your TRUE thoughts down. Its easier to tell someone things in a letter than in words sometimes, espically if you think she wont listen to you.

If she still ignores you or gives you grief lose her mate. She really then isnt worth it and shes just being self fish. Dont worry too much about it, think more about your exams but dont stress over them. Good luck mate

The truth: you may have been socially equal before, but now she sees you as lower on the totem pole. You no longer fit in with her social stratum. You gave her an excuse to end the relationship.
All I can say is it happens all the time. Embrace the fact that you too are a social animal, and you will be able to forgive her.
