Sometimes the hymen is broken by an injury like falling from a tree or bike. There is not much pain when your hymen breaks due to intercourse. There may be signs of bleeding which shows your partner that you have had no sex before him. if the hymen is intact it is tighter for the male organ to penetrate so it bleeds when broken. Nowadays this can be repaired by a doctor. Some women does this for business as in prostitution or to fool their husbands that they have no experience before him.

Relax as far as you know your Hymen is already broken. It can be broke from tampons, playing sports and even from horseback riding. Remember if you have sex I wouldn't worry too much about a little thing like your Hymen being broken. It will hurt a lot more if you have unprotected sex, get pregnant and have a baby popping out of there. I have provided some links below about a woman's Hymen.

It doesn't so much 'break' as it does 'tear'. Imagine....blowing a gum bubble.......then poking through it. Just a bit thicker. (lol...not a really pleasant example).
Supposedly in some girls, particuarly active girls, it doesn't hurt at all. Similar to some of my friends. Others aren't so lucky. My personal experience/opinion is that it feels like a big sharp knife entering you. Very painful. And it was never really confortable for me for about a year.
It doesn't have to bleed, but it most likely will, so prepare properly for that. I also don't think it 'heals', but it's treated on its own, considering that the vagina is has self-cleaning, self-maintaining system.
I'm not an expert, just sharing my opinion. Educate yourself as much as possible about your feminine health, STD'S, and don't do anything until you're sure you're ready. Good luck and god bless...

The hymen is a membranic barrier that surrounds or partially covers the external vaginal opening.
When it tears, there will be some pain and bleeding. It will never reheal and can cause pain on even the second or third intercourse as the last of it is torn away.
If you partner had any class, after you have sex for the first time, he should toast you with champagne.

Yes it hurts really bad the first time because you have to stretch out the vagina because nothing has been in there before if you are a virgin. The hymen breaks because of the friction of the penis rubbing against it. It bleeds, but not very much. Its like a little cut inside your vagina. Dont be scared.

it does bleed and it does hurt the first time. it is a layer of skin inside your vagina, and when you have sex for the first time, the thrust is what breaks it, it doesn't heal, so after the first time, the next time will be more enjoyable for you.
but if you are young, don't even worry about it. there are much better things to do in your teenage years than have sex, and many risks you need to avoid. like std's and pregnancy

Nothing to worry about...
Some girls don't bleed at all...
Not much blood anyway...
Stretch yourself a bit with your fingers first..
Make sure you are well lubricated..
Bring some extra lube just in case...
Start with you sitting on him and lower yourself
down slowly, work it in...That way you have control
and it won't hurt much, if any....
It is just a little thin membrane and it is sometimes
already torn or virtually non-existent on some girls..
It will heal quickly & without any attention from you...

It didn't hurt or bleed for me at all, but I chose to be deflowered by a much older, experienced, understanding, caring man. He penetrated me only after a couple of hours of petting and oral that had orgasmed me already 3 times and I was very wet and he inserted himself slowly and high, pressing against the top of my vagina and not the bottom. And I orgasmed again - my first intercourse! Please use my answer as a guide for yourself. Good luck.

Please before you have sex talk to your mom or an Aunt. It sounds like you haven't had a sex education class so I assume you are very young. You are not ready for SEX. Please, there is too much going on in the world, you could get pregnant, or get some kind of disease. I would rather my daughter come and talk to me about this before she went out and done anything. Your Mom might be more understanding than you think.
