My delima is that now days it appears men don't want to "date" women. They just want to be able to have sex with them. After they get sex, they just want to hang out with the guys and do what they were doing before you met them. If it is convenient for them, the next time they happen to run into you......Well you get the picture.
I just want to date the old fashion way. Meet someone, go on a few dates, have a few phone conversations, decide if you want to go on more dates. THEN decide if you want to have sex.
Am I asking too much?

Men (and women too) are designed to have sex. A man wants more because more sex means more chances of continuing his genetic line. This is natural.
As for dating this courtship is a social set up used by males and females to select a permanent mate. A gentleman will wait for a lady to offer sex instead of looking for it right off. Most men as you have surmised are not gentlemen. Most men want instant gratification and are far too impatient for the average lady.
If the only men you meet or go out with are of the mongrel type you have to look at yourself first. Why are you dating the same type of men? There are plenty of men that will treat you right and wait for when you are ready. Try looking where this kind of gentleman will be, churches, in social groups, etc.
One hint: they ain't in bars or nightclubs. If you find it in a bar leave it in the bar (or a cheap hotel room the next morning.)
I realize this is blunt and a little off the beaten path of advise. However if you follow it you will be far happier when on a date.

Unless you find a man tha tis older then you will continue to have that problem I stopped having that problem because i date older men. I am 37 and my boyfriends in the last 5 years are over 50. and yes the sex is still good then some even better

Don't have sex with him after the first time meeting him but give him the impression that he can eventually some day have sex with you. If he likes you, he'll chase you (unless he's a douche, in which case he's probly not getting laid anyway)

for one thing, the old fashion way is meet someone, introduce to parents if your teen, talk on the phone/internet go on more dates, get MARRIED THAN SEX! and secondly, it is best to wait for marriage for sex, becasue if the guy really cares about you, he'll understand! and you will know beforehand if he's using you or not!

Here's a heads up for you...MARRIED men just want women for sex too...lol There is a saying that if men could f@%k their mothers none of them would get married. Thats what men do...their programming makes them all want to procreate. The trick is to find one that only wants to procreate with you. good luck!
