Try to avoid the foods that are most troublesome, such as cabbage, broccoli, beans, onions, fresh fruits, and most dairy products, as you may be lactose intolerant. Don't eat when you're stressed or upset. Chew your food thoroughly and eat slowly. Don't gulp liquids when you drink. Sip them instead. You might also try a probiotic supplement, which you can buy at health food stores. Probiotics contain "good" bacteria, such as that found in live yogurt cultures. If you take antibiotics, that medication will destroy the "good" bacteria which are present in the intestines to help digest food. Probiotics will replace them.
