Why are relationships complicated? I mean, why can't it be easy to find someone who loves you and you love back...and live happily? Why should it always be hard?

Relationships are complicated by those who complicate them........Most people are not truly interested in love, so they put it on the backburner, and place other material things ahead of love, or they place other lesser important people in front of the one they love.......... This overcomplicates the relationship, because these people do not know how to love, or even what love is for that matter. True love is never hard (nor is happiness) unless other factors make it that way..........Like the breaking of a previous relationship......This makes it so that you never feel worthy of love again, and you always feel like just going to sleep and never waking up..........In this case, it becomes complicated because of a fear; a fear of loving and losing, a fear of being heartbroken, a fear of crying, a fear of being afraid........... It becomes hard because of fear.........When we find someone to love, we must (at some point) overcome this fear and sadness, and then, and only then, will we find this new (and true) relationship being very easy, and then we live happily ever after.

Simply because, if it was easy, we would go into other extremes. Such as everyday threesomes, heterosexual love, more than one love partner and relationship. Yes, I realize that all of that stuff already exists, but, we would become so much more competitive. The world would be in chaos. Fraying love, more death. Every wonderful thing about love would be demolished and our world would consist of two second long relationships and continuous cheaters.

You have to love yourself and be okay with being by yourself. That is the key. Once you get there, it's amazing how a great relationship may just drop into your lap totally unexpectedly.

Trust me, I have been through 2 ex husbands and I am married again (not anything to brag about)...

because if relationships were easy, people would take them for granted.
wouldn't you feel a sense of accomplishment if you won the heart of a guy who was hard to get?
