Whether a relationship ends because of swinging or not depends a great deal on the relationship. It's an amplifier of sorts. If you go into it with a good relationship, one that is flexible and healthy, it can be much improved. If, however, you go into it with a relationship that needs work, or with insecurities or a sense that you're doing something wrong, you can expect an almost immediate breakdown. Swinging isn't the enemy. It's the people in the relationship that make all the decisions and do all the damage.

I personally know swinging couples who have been married for decades and intend to stay that way, but they also enjoy swinging. They simply observe agreed-upon rules.

I have never swinged but heard a lot of stories about people who have....it ruined there relationships and wouldnt do it again. I would think twice before adding someone to your relationship_

Lil...that's so funny. a friend of mine and his wife were enjoying the swinging life and she just left him a "dear john" letter telling him she's leaving him for one of the guys they were swinging with. so i guess that's the answer to your question

i love to swing. i have two swing chairs on my front porch. hubby has never minded how much i swing so it hasn't hurt my marriage at all.....................
