I know my friend for three years. we flirt with each other, talk about sensitive stuff, deepest secrets.but we know that we r not in love each other. we have nothing in common. the only problem is that when i date somebody he ends up forcing me to spend more time with him. when i break up with a boyfriend, he shows me no sympathy. n i kind of get jealous n irritated when he talks to me about other girls. but again we don't want a relationship with each other. i like him very much as a best friend...often times when i hurt him, i get stuffy feelings inside n i end up crying. we fight n then again become friends. this has been happening for years. do you think we are not really bestfriends, but something else?

No, girls and boys can be best friends. One of my 2 best friends is a guy and everyday I thank God for him because he is amazing. Once or twice I did wonder if we could be more than friends but in the end the big question is, do you want to take a chance that things won't work out and losing him as a boyfriend and a best friend? It's a tough decision to make but whether you go out with him or not things can be good.

yes girls n guys can be just friend but with you i think that you could be more and rather then say were not in love look at it really hard 9 times out of 10 if you get jealous over him talking about girls there's more between you two then your willing to say and if you want a girlfriend boyfriend relationship talk to him and im almost willing to bet the feeling is mutual. get real guys like to test girls hes probably testing you to see if you like him in that way.

You do love each other. drop the friends crap.... Maybe it is time for this relationship to mature. Become something else more beautiful. Friends are nice but soulmates are much better. I'd be willing to risk it but that is just me. Also I think both of you deep down want to be with one another. That is why you feel the way that you do.

i imagine that perhaps both of you've through the years stepped forward an particularly solid friendship. adult men and females must be bestfriends, I have a guy bestfriend myself, and yet i'm married mutually. yet being that you at the instantaneous are not married, i imagine perhaps that that's plausible that perhaps deep down both of think about emotions for another more advantageous than acquaintances, and perhaps dont even comprehend it. i'm not with the help of any skill putting forward that you ought to act upon them, yet perhaps you 2 must have a intense heart to heart talk and in simple terms see what comes out of it. of route i'm not particular of your age, yet in simple terms take it difficulty-free and talk, its continually the proper ingredient to do.

any 2 human beings can be best wheter male or female its just that sumtimes sum people find being best friends with a person of the same gender easier. its true guys and girls being b.friends can be hard but so can a guy and a guy or girl and girld being best friends. its especially hard when sum1 falls for another but it all depends on how both of u feel about each other.

Sure, it's possible to be best friends. But there might always be another element in the relationship too--a subtle tension. As long as nobody secretly wants to be with the other, and as long as one of you doesn't start dating somebody who feels threatened by the relationship, you can stay best friends.

its natural for best friends to feel bad or left out when the other gets a boyfriend or girlfrind. think about it, it happens with normal same sex best friends. and they want to spend more time with each other because they feel like they might be replaced. that they'll spend so much time with they're new boyfriend that they'll forget about them or not want to spend time with them anymore. so maybe thats what may be occuring when hes jeoulous. i know you care about him deeply but often especially around this age. we confuse our feelings. i believe that you two are just friends. but maybe you too should go out to see that it wouldn't work and you aren't in love. or maybe you could be. but i don't think its anything to worry about. trust me i was once in the same place

Absolutely not!!! Several of my best friends are men, and not because they are after anything or that I am. My husband is comfortable with my relationships with them too. True friends of the heart have no race, sex or creed.
