for as long as you want, but if you plan on having a relationship with someone else, eventually when that time comes you need to take a look at the situation again. Maybe if you find yourself caring about someone else as much as you did the person you're with then maybe you could put it on a necklace or something. If I was with someone and they had that in their past then I would definitely not mind a guy doing that.

Taking the ring off is a sign that you have move on, and dealt with your grief. It shows that you are back on the market to date again too. There is no set time limit, nor do you ever have to take it off. Some take it off and put it on the right hand as a remembrance.
Do what you feel is right for you and the memory of your deceased wife.

I think it depends upon the individual. I wore mine for about 6mos, at that time I was basically coming out of mourning and starting to socialize with friends again, etc.
I was only 26 at the time, so that may have had something to do with it. Although, it took 10 years before I actually remarried.

I think that's a very personal decision. I would probably continue to wear mine on my left hand until I started dating again--and even then, I'd probably wear it on my right hand, or on a chain round my neck.
Do what feels right to you. Six months ago is still very recent. My best to you as you cope with your loss.

I say wear it as long as you want, until you feel you can live without it. There is no set time that says when you have to stop wearing it. I'm so sorry for your loss.

no one can tell u how long to wear your ring for, you can wear it for as long as you want. It is part of the grieving process.....if you feel you should take it off then maybe you are ready

Until you feel comfortable to take it off. There is absolutely nothing wrong with continuing to wear it.

you should wear your ring until you feel comfortable in taking it off ... but should you start dating again than you should move it to another finger and/or around your neck (on a necklace)
