Why are females more beautiful?

In most of animal species, the males are more attractive and handsome; like lion, peacock, turkey, bull, deer, ram, etc. But in human species females are more attractive and beautiful ! Why ?

It's how our people developed, really. There's nothing entirely special about that in terms of being human or not. But actually it's more based on our socioty. We hold the notion that girls are to be this beautiful and delicate flower while men are supposed to be rough, tough and dirty. I'll be the first to admit that girls are generally prettier then guys, but if you'll notice that there are women who don't look pretty [most trucker women for example] and that lots of guys can be pretty [male models for example].

However, I'm gauging that you're a guy, and you're naturally wired to like girls to begin with. Nothing against homosexual people, but that's the general rule of how it goes, we're attracted to the opposite sex in one way or another. Either sexually or emotionally, in awe or in envy.

In the animal kingdom they make the males more attractive to get the spotlight off the females so as to protect them and their young ones. I don't agree that the females in humans are more attractive. I think there are many hot looking men . I think it's quite evenly distributed.

I don't agree with you at all - there are some really ugly and plain women out there, the same numbers I think as men - they just use cosmetics etc to improve themselves - for me, men and women are equal in the looks department - it doesn't come down to gender - it comes down to your genes. My baby boy is so beautiful - and these silly people always say to me, "Oh, he looks like a wee girl", but it's so dumb, he's beautiful because of his awesome genes - and doesn't look like a girl at all - he looks what he is, a beautiful wee baby boy, who is going to grow into one amazingly handsome knockout guy!!!!

I dunno....guys can be beautiful too, just a lot of them aren't conditioned to care about it. Just think about it did your parents try to get you to be beautiful while growing up? Chances are, they did not.

Most guys don't even try, they wear hideous clothes, don't bathe regularly or brush their teeth often enough, don't get haircuts...not that the metrosexual look is better, but women simply put more effort into it.
