If God felt that he needed me why wouldn't he just come to me and say so (I've always wondered what color are his eyes). For it to be done by a total stranger looses credibility. The religion business is very greedy and they have many gullible people doing their dirty work. They always hide this from the followers but more followers mean a larger collection basket.

God doesn't "need" me. But if God wants me to do something, He has adequate ways of letting me know that, without using strangers in a shopping mall.

I think the fact that the strange guy quickly disappeared into the crowd is a dead giveaway that the whole thing is a hoax and a fraud or simply a delusion. Otherwise, he would stay and tell me how exactly God needed me.

If God needs you and is calling you for a specific purpose you will not have to wonder, you will know.

I would take it as god needed me but changed his mind at the last minute.

sure i'd ask him what he meant, but there is no god so I would just be curious what he thought.
