I'm sure they do want a better life ... if I had t he choice between an American and a Mexican prison, I know which one I'd choose ....
And heck, I want a better life too .. .maybe I should stop paying taxes and health insurance ... why not? If it's OK to break immigration laws, why isn't it OK to break tax laws? Both a federal laws, right?

One Third Of ALL The Federal Prisoners In The USA
Are ILLEGAL Aliens
Considering There Are About
20 Million ILLEGAL ALIENS
And 300 Million Citizens
COMAPARATIVELY, The Ratio Of
ILLEGAL ALIENS In Prison
To
Citizens In Prison
Is Proportionately HIGH On The ILLEGAL Side Of The Scale
Too Many CRIMINALS
This Soup Has WAY Too Much SALT

I've travelled the world..twice..and let me tell you.....our prisons are much nicer than their countries. So what if you have to sleep in a 4x8 locked room. At least you have a bed, toilet, running water, and three meals a day. Some prisons even have televisions and other forms of entertainment. Also, getting locked up means you don't have any more responsibilities, such as working for living and putting food on the table yourself.

Most of the illegals that only did the crime of illegal entry have spread everywhere. Sadly after a few months, the criminals also start to show up.

Wow. You make me proud to be an American...NOT! "Thinked they would of smarten up..." or "...on a daily basics." Boy, you really paid attention in English didn't you? Where are you getting your 50% statistic? Let's look at the real issues behind illegal immigration - American companies that rely on illegal immigrants for their labor (meatpacking especially) to avoid taxes, or companies that move to Mexico and won't pay a living wage, so people are still driven to come to the U.S. to carve out a better life for themselves and their families. Or what about the immigration system itself? It is ridiculously complicated. Why can't we streamline the worker visa process, screen out criminals, and hold U.S. companies accountable for their unethical practices?

They probably have better accomadations in our jails than where they lived in Mexico.
Running water, heat, clean linen, TV, free legal representation, free Medical care, three square meals a day, and all without having to lift a finger.
That's easier than actually working for a living.
Not that I would like it, but many don't seem to mind.

Me and most of this country agrees with you 100%.
I do think the 50% in jail might be a bit high, but I get the general idea of what you are saying .
