My husband is hispanic and i used the yahoo messenger plugin to translate english to spanish and he was asking me what i was talking about. So yes there is a translator, but not a very good one.

Hi, Kyrah!
I really wouldn't use an online translator if I were you, because they don't translate very well at all... in fact, anyone who speaks the language properly can tell when someone's used an Internet translation, because it's always off kilter. Why? Because slang, expressions, idioms and other such linguistic phenomena differ from language to language.
E.g. I remember marking someone's work for Spanish... they wanted to say 'I went back to Stuttgart', but the translator gave them the sentence 'fui espalda a Stuttgart' which means 'I went [back as in the part of the body] to Stuttgart,' which should have been written volví a Estútgart. Free translations are riddled with thousands of these madcap mistakes... if you want something translated, why not try asking an hispanohablante friend, or even try asking for a translation here, where many people would be willing to help :).
Un abrazo de
Andrea

On the yahoo toolbar they have a translate page button (a little fish).
They used site called babel fish which is one of many translation websites.
It is ok: can get some funny translations since they are translating words and not always grammer, and don't aways pick the best word.

Not if you want a vaguely comprehensible translation. No online translation system can.
