I'm a "soccer veteran", and I'd definitely suggest a ponytail in the back of your head at the part of your scalp where it curves up. If your hair is too long for that and gets in your face anyway, try a ponytail but don't pull the hair all the way through the hair tie the last time you wrap it around the hair. Bun.

High ponytail with one of those headband elastics to keep the flyaways out of your face. You don't want the pony to be too low because then the hair is going to get on your nerves.

Ponytail... Clip the ponytail into a bun if your hair is super long and whips you in the face. and... Use and Head band or clips if you have bangs that fall into your face.

if guys are on the other team, distract them with pigtails and 2 barrets on each side. if not then a ponytail or bun will work.
