I say back away. It's not worth it if she's already involved with someone else. Whether there is something there or not you need to back off for your own sake.
If she's treating you like that then she may already have picked up on your feelings and be trying to gently tell you to back off.

If she does like you she'll miss you when you aren't there all the time and she'll start initiating contact.

One more thing, never do anything expecting to be thanked for it. If you get a thank you that's great but they'll be few and far between especially if she's become accustomed to you doing things for her. All that will happen is that you'll get more and more angry with her and she won't know why.

She knows you like her and she's trying not to encourage you. Well, for now at least.

You don't want to carry on being the lovesick puppy, so you might as well just be honest with her (tell her how you feel) and then cut yourself off from her (tell her why you're cutting yourself off from her). Explain it before you do it. She will either nod sadly and let you go, or she will try to convince you otherwise. But at least you'll survive with your pride and sanity intact.

And, considering that knowing someone fancies you makes them more fanciable themselves, she might just call you some day.

I think you two are just friends, like you said: "shes kinda close but were not like best of friends".

you should actually do what shes doing to you and when she asks why you're doing it, tell her what she's done is mean.
