Analysis:

First, we must state that the Quran does recognize the concept of love. According to Islam, all followers must love Allah.

Next, to figure out what instruction the Quran has, regarding love for people, we are left to draw inferences, because the Quran itself never tells followers to love anyone. [Note: Watch if anyone posts a specific Quran reference. Its just not there. Search yourself].

Inference 1: The Quran is supposed to be complete manual on how Allah wants us all to live, therefore, the fact that Allah leaves out any instruction to love others shows that he doesnt want us to live a lifestyle where we are loving other humans.

Inference 2: The opposite of love is hate, and the Quran does claim that hatred of people, simply for present unbelief, is an "excellent" conduct in the eyes of Allah (60:4). Since Allah does see fit to endorse hatred as an "excellent" behavior, and ignores love, we are again left to conclude that loving humans is against Allah's will.

Inference 3: Many stories from the bible(before Islam), like the story of Moses, are copied in the Quran. In order to rationalize this, Islamic scholars explain that the creation of Islam, by the "same God", was necessary because the previous religious texts became corrupt.

So, those biblical verses not in the Quran are the corrupted verses. Consider then the following "corrupted verses" intentionally left out of the Quran: Mat 5:46 "love your enemies": Mat 9:19 "love your family and neighbors".

Thus, we must conclude that, according to the claimed design of Islam, it must be that Allah doesnt want you to love you neighbors, family, or anyone.

Yes,the Quran may say that heaven rests under the feet of mothers, but Mohammed Also said that he saw that the Majority of the inhabitants in Hell were Women, how do reason that huge difference/contradiction?? because logically,it doesn't make sense. Though Im sure some people will definitely try to split hair to try to get it to make sense....to themselves. Im not trying to be insulting, just trying to use logic. And also,if you actually do research,it is common knowledge, even by Muslim Scholars, that most of the Peacful and tolerant verses of the Quran had been abrogated/replaced later for violent and vengeful/hateful ones, though most don't like to talk about it or admit it. No one should just believe what there Imam or their family or their culture tells them, without checking it out for themselves, that is very passive and dangerous, not too mention not smart at all. The destiny of your soul rests in your own hands, you shouldn't just accept everything you're told.Do actual research while reading your holy book(In which it can only keep its full integrity and meaning in Arabic.)So if you can read it and fully understand it in Arabic,or do ur best with some other language translation. but you will need to know also the history of which parts happened when,to be able to see why these verses were abrogated. Also you should read the other companion books the go along with the Quran. If you read Hadiths, try to see if they go along with those few "peaceful" verses in the Quran that you think out way the violent ones. see if there is any consistency along that idea. Like this Hadith-Bukhari (59:727) - Allah's Apostle [said]... "Allah's curse be on the Jews and the Christians" This was spoken on Muhammad's death bed, and was one of the last things that he ever said. If this is one of the last things he said on his death bed, then it shows the last things He believed and that Muslims should also believe and follow,do Not compliment or go hand in hand with those few peaceful verses that only suited him at a certain time for a specific reason. Also another gem from the very holy and tolerant Mohamed- Ishaq 240 - "The Jews are a nation of liars.... The Jews are a treacherous, lying, and evil people. Well the God of Abraham.Issac and Jacob made them to be a people set apart, his people, and he said that whoever is against them will be cursed and whoever blesses them will be blessed. So its Mohammeds word against Gods word, and I guess that means that Mohammed is already cursed. the reason Mohammed said that Christians and Jews are cursed,it's only becuz they knew him to be one of the false prophets that have been foretold and wouldn't follow him. Mohammed would have loved to have taken over the whole world if he could have. But instead he suffered a very long and painful disintegration to his prolonged death by eating the shoulder of a lamb (his favorite) poisoned by a Jewish woman whom family members he had previously killed. I'm shocked that Allah would let that happen to his final prophet, it is not a honorable or heroic death,it is just very humiliating and sad. (pbuh),he's gonna need it. The Irony.

U R a poor soul, just anther hater. Look like U've been through the Quran in a manner that allows U to say "anyone posts a specific Quran reference. Its just not there. Search yourself"!!. Well if U R a monkey, U must have sence of humour.
How about the verse about marriage?!! I will not copy it, since U know the Quran better than a Muslim. That verse states that God made man & woman to have tenderness and be merciful to each other. Any bright brains will understand that this means "LOVE"...do want Allah to say the word itself??

No, Islam is. The Qur'an is the main source, but Islam is not complete without the Hadith.

Allah states about the love of man for God, "And those who believe are stronger in (their) love for Allah" (2:165). In another place God says, "laud Allah as you lauded your fathers, rather a more hearty lauding" (2:200). In yet another place, God says, "Say: My prayer and my sacrifice and my life and my death are surely for Allah, the Lord of the worlds" (6:162). The Prophet here is commanded to say to those who seek to follow him that they too must make the same sacrifices as the Prophet had made. Again, God says:

"If your fathers and your sons and your brethren and your wives and your kinsfolk and the wealth you have acquired, and trade whose dullness you fear, and dwellings you love, are dearer to you than Allah and His Messenger and striving in His way, then wait till Allah brings His command to pass." (9:24)

In another place God says:

"And they give food, out of love for Him, to the poor and the orphan and the captive: 'We feed you, for Allah's pleasure only -- We desire from you neither reward nor thanks'." (76:8,9)

There is, however, a second part to this question that inquires whether, according to the Quran, God loves man? The fact is that the Quran is replete with verses that state, Allah loves those who oft return to Him [God's love of man is not like the love of human beings, where separation from the beloved causes pain and sorrow. The real meaning of God's love is that He deals with those who do good in the manner of a lover towards the beloved.], Allah loves those who do good, and Allah loves those who are patient. But the Quran does not state anywhere that God also loves those who love disbelief, evil and cruelty. Instead, the Quran puts forward the concept of having conferred a favour on them. For instance, the Quran says: "And We have not sent thee but as a mercy to the whole world" (21:107), where the word 'alamin (whole world) includes disbelievers, transgressors and sinners. Mercy for them is the holding open of the doors to salvation if they follow the prescriptions of the Quran.

What love. If your Muhammad the writer of the book was a killer rapist tortured other human beings, gave order to his men to kill and rape, steal, enslave. Your Muhammad was womanizer AL_ HASAN AL BASRI narrated the messenger of God said "The only two things I cherish of the life of this world are women and perfume". the same thing has been narrated by Aisha in different versions " the prophet of God liked three things of this world perfume, women, and food" so all his life was about sex and women even when he promised his followers a heaven he told them they are going to get 72 virgins there. Your Quran is a fake book, it is not from God, it is Muhammad hallucinating, and stupid people believed him.

You are a demon dreaming weirdo. Islam means peace Muslim means submission. If you have a Question about what, who, or how to love you are not human. The Qu'ran doesn't teach you how to breathe either.
