How many times are people gonna post this question. There is no eternal torture according the the bible. Many religions misinterperate the bible to say that. But reasoning and logic tells us that there is not. When you die in Christ, meaning you have accepted Christ as your Lord and Savior you will receive eternal life. That is only a gift to believers. So how is it that many Christians think that evil doers will be given eternal life also to eternally be tortured in hell. Jesus never said that. The catholic popes made it up to put fear in the populus and it is a misinterpretation of Revalations where it speaks of the beast being thrown into the lake of fire. It does not say, "he will be tormented forever," it says, "the SMOKE OF HIS TORMENT will rise forever."

God will not torture them, it is the lack of God that will be what is torturing to them- the day will come when His followers will be with them and those that continue to have rebellious, unteachable, uncorrectable hearts will be left in place and the presence of God will be totally removed- God will be nowhere near and hope, love, peace will be gone- that is what will be torturing.
God does not want it to be so and neither do I but no one can make a person choose anything. Those that remain without hte presence of God will have chosen to do so, and truly I am sorry about that.

Show me one place it says you will be tortured forever, for all eternity and i will give you $100,000 cash money. Nowhere in the bible does it say you will be tortured forever. May seem like forever to you if you are being burned up but it is only till you die. Now I can show you proof of that one. Prove your statement and you will be $100,000 richer by the end of the day.

A thorough study of the Scriptures will reveal the fallacy of that statement. There is No eternal torment for any one. The forever and ever is separation from God in the state of being dead, for all time with out end.

It's totally wrong to be happy about that. I don't even feel that way about Hitler. We cannot imagine forever, and the idea of the worst torture possible for ETERNITY is just not right. You cannot believe in that and be happy. That would make you a Sadist.

That's a sick way of thinking and think anyone who believe good tortures people is very confused. God does not torture people. God is all loving and if you read the bible you will see that we are all forgiven for our sins as long as we ask God for forgiveness. Even a killer can be forgiving for his sinful acts if he whole heartidly asked God for forgiveness. The devil has got you twisted into thinking God would tortue his own creation.

God will not torture anyone. People chose to reject God in doing so they chose a life completely devoid of God and any part of His presents and light. That is worse than any Hell you can imagine the only way to describe it is a burning hell in comparison. total , complete darkness. That is what people are saying when they reject Yahweh and His Yeshua HaMashiach. he sent Christ to keep people from this suffering. He never wanted anyone in this condition that is why he sent His son through it instead, so you won't have to.

No it is not okay. If we do then we should pray to God for us and for them. Pray to God for us because we are to be Christ like. God is love and He is compassionate. We are to be concerned with souls. Each individual have a soul that will burn forever and there is no joy in that. No matter how arrogant we may feel they are here on earth. It is only that grace of God that we are not the same. So one should pray to God and ask Him to help us be compassionate for ALL souls. I guess it goes without saying that we should pray for them because their souls are the ones who are at stake. We know that we were once unsaved and it was God who saved us. It could have been us. May God Bless

God does not torture people. When sin entered the world, satan became the world's master and he is directing certain aspects of our lives when we allow him. Think about it - God can't be good and loving and turn around and do us evil. That would defeat the purpose of satan's existance. He is here to resist God and take any of those who will follow him. The evil that is released in the world is of satan's doing - and the doings of his followers. Those who do not walk in love. In the end, if the world does not accept Jesus Christ - they will leave their fate into their own hands and it will not be a decision that God made. God's decision was to reclaim us back to Himself - through Jesus and He proved his love to us through that sacrifice. Now, He gave us free will - and there will be those who choose not to accept Jesus -and they will suffer their own fate in the hands of satan. Hell was not made for us.
