How do I detect and replace corrupted Windows files?

I have gotten into Recovery console, but dont find a command to check to see which windows files are missing or corrupted. Surely there is a program to do this? I am very familiar with DOS. Chkdsk only checks the intergrity of the disk, not of the files that might be missing and neccesary for windows. Any help?

Chkdsk also checks file intergrity. It can determine cross-linked files or file system corruption.
