No amnesty at all. Why should we support amnesty to the Mexicans crossing the borders. What about all the others who try hard to enter legally and go through the course such as Eastern Europeans, Brazilians, Vietnamese, Indian, Koreans etc.
It is like allowing some people to go to the next grade or get a job without appearing in the exams while other people study hard for years to pass tough exams. How would you like that in your school?

No way. Let's worry about securing the borders before we start talking amnesty for those who are here. I am sympathetic to people coming here to make a living, but there has to be a limit. Why doesn't Mexico try to solve some of it's own problems so that people can stay. Why should they, if their poor can just walk across the border into the land of milk and honey? Mexico uses America as it's welfare system. Then Vincente Fox has the sheer gall to criticize American for proposing a fence? We should deport as many as possible. Give local law enforcement the authority to get them out and maybe some of this bleeding will stop. This is something most Americans wouldn't mind paying taxes for. You can't have a sovereign nation for very long with borders as porous as ours. Illegal immigration will destroy the fabric of our nation if it is not at least slowed.

i do not support amnesty
"amnesty" is usually for those politically persecuted, such as Cubans who were exiled by Castro
amnesty is good, but should be used for only those who's lives are in IMMEDIATE danger.
Most illegals from Mexico now should not get anmesty, and the Democrats do not support it. Not sure if Dubya does though.

No I don't. He states that if they have been living in the US for a certain amount of years then they should get amnesty. Like that would make it right -- PLEASE. So if I robbed houses every day for 5 or 6 years, does that make it right???

NO and the majority of Americans DO NOT! The politicians are not dealing with it by going after the Employer who should be convicted assets seized and property auctioned off! Oh and long prison term served also!
