To love is to be vulnerable. Love anything and your heart will certainly be wrung and possibly broken. In order to make sure of keeping it intact you must give your heart to no one not even an animal. Wrap it round carefully in hobbies and little luxuries, avoid all entaglements, lock it up safe in the casket or coffin of your selfishness. But in tthat casket-safe, dark, motionless, airless- it will change. It will not be broken, it will become unbreakable, impenetrable, irredeemable.
-C.S. Lewis

The world doesn't belong to you. You belong to the world.

There is no darkness. There are only those places that the light has not yet reached.
-Ross Mueller

Don't wish ill for your enemy. Plan it.

-Holden Caulfield(J.D. Salinger)

Destiny is not a matter of chance, it is a matter of choice; if my chance is with you, then I choose that path. If not, the hell that still threatens to devour me, opens wide.”------Unknown

Do not stand at my grave and weep.
I am not there, I do not sleep.
I am a thousand winds that blow.
I am the diamond glints on snow.
I am the sunlight on ripened grain.
I am the gentle autumn rain.
When you awaken in the mornings hush,
I am the swift uplifting rush
of quiet birds in circled flight,
I am the soft stars that shine at night.
Do not stand at my grave and cry,
I am not there, I did not die...
-Mary E. Frye

You know I always wondered how come we have stayed friends for so long when other friendships keep breaking apart and I think I have finally figured it out. Neccesity. I mean really there are tons of friends who like each other a lot more than we do but let's face it. You're the only person I can talk to longer than 10 seconds and not have a sudden urge to strangle said person.

"Don't cry because it is over, smile because it happened." <- I think everyone can relate to that one. "It takes only a minute to get a crush on someone, an hour to like someone, and a day to love someone but it takes a lifetime to forget someone." <- How sweet is that?
