Welcome to Oz. You are coming just in time for summer and the weather in Adelaide will be in the mid 20s to mid 30s for your first week so be prepared to 'slip, slop, slap'.

Take a look at this site for things to do http://www.adelaide.com.au/activities.htm

Regarding where to live I guess that depends on if you are working and what is available near the workplace - this site will get you started on what is available http://au.easyroommate.com/

Well i live in Adelaide, so i hope i can help you out abit.
The surf is OK, we don't get big waves like in the eastern states.
There's some cycling and climbing trails around the north eastern suburbs, or even the parks around Adelaide you can do some cycling.
We don't really have much adrenaline activites to do.

Adelaide is a great city. Its close to beaches, hills & various wine regions. If you like beach, try to live between the city n beach maybe seaton, which is between henley beach n the city. Linear park has a bike trail which is parallel to the river n goes to the beach, so easy to cycle there if youre near the river.

Im returning to adelaide from london next monday and am gonna live close to the city - we can always cycle to the beach from there (40 mins on the bike, 15 mins drive)

I think youll love adelaide
