I know this sounds stupid but does anyone know where I could get a download of Microsoft Powerpoint?

You have three legal options here. Either you want a Powerpont viewer which is free (you cannot alther the Powerpoint presentations though):

Secondly you can download Openoffice.org which is an Office Suite (similar to Microsoft Office) and is absolutely free. They An application is included in the suite which is similar to Powerpoint and in fact you can export it into that format:

Or finally, buy Microsoft Powerpoint from your local computer store.

I have personally used OpenOffice and it works like a dream.
