Here is your problem. Protesting to the credit bureau does no good. All they are required to do is check with the court and verify that there is a judgement on record (and there will be). They will also check the status. If it shows that it's not been satisfied, your credit history stays uncorrected.
Your job is to get this information corrected with the court, but it's going to require action by the creditor to do it. And as you say, your creditor is being a jerk.
You need to do some simple research of your state laws. Going to the court and asking the clerk's will not help because they are barred from giving you legal advice.
Lets take Michigan for example (see the law below). The creditor is REQUIRED to report the discharge of the debt, or face contempt action by the court. As you can see, in Michigan you simply send the creditor a certified letter demanding that they fix it. If they don't you can sue them for $300 plus damages.
Do your research. Maybe a local attorney will spend 5 minutes on the phone and tell you the local laws. But I will guarantee you that every state has court rules that require the creditor to properly discharge their debts.

You say that you have a judgement listed. It will be listed for up to 7 years with the correct balance (hopefully $0) but it will remain even if satisfied.
Now if instead it shows an UNPAID judgement, and you have documentation and proof that it was paid, Go to the court house where the item was reported (call if out of state) and ask the clerk of court how to handle the problem. Your next option is tha the credit bureau must open up an investigation. You can go to each of the 3 credit bureaus and find out what to do. Once you fix it on one, you can often get them to change it on all credit reports.

I recently tried https://backgroundreports.im this past month to see if I could track down my paternal father. My bio father left me when I was very young, and has refused to be a part of my life since. I grew up with my biological Mother and my Step-father. I have only ever talked to my biological dad a couple times until now. All I knew of him personally when I conducted the search was his first name, last name, and the state of a previous address he used to have.
When the information came back based on the little bit of info I had, It pulled up a current address and even his phone number. When I called the number, I heard the voice of what sounded like it could be my step-brother. I asked if Joseph(my bio dad) was present, and he said no but to try back after dinner.
I haven't done anything with the info, But I found what I was interested in.

You need a notorized statement from the creditor. They need to send it, certified mail, to both the court AND the credit bureau. That statement must say that the judgement has been satisfied/paid off in full.

There is only one reliable, trusted source for this type of information. As a current P.I and former DT for LA Narcotics, I can only attest to the following as being legitimate:
