I don't know how to drive so I frequently walk around the neighborhood to buy groceries, to the bus stop etc. once it was raining and a guy stoped by and said he would drop me off at the bus stop. I politely declined but he insisted. It was raining and he seemed harmless so I said ok. About 2 or 3 weeks later he catches me again with a lot of grocery bags walking home. So again same thing happens. Do you think he is just being kind or he is stalking me with some bad intent or he just has a platonic crush or something?

Do not get into cars of such strangers unless you know that person well and are 100 % sure that he is a good person.

Never do that mistake again hon. You don't know the world.

Do you think the guy with the car has a platonic crush ?

Don't take kindness for granted! Be careful. He could be a stalker a sneaky one. He could try to be kind then turn on you when he gets to know you. Follow your intuition is telling you that something isn't right then follow it. If it is not, then I guess it be okay to try to get to know him as a friend by asking questions. If you catch him in lies, then leave him alone. That is the best thing to do.

This only happened two times, so I don't think it's a case of stalking. He probably lives in the same area as you, and notices that you walk to places a lot. It sounds as if he might like you, but it also sounds like he's a gentleman for offering to help you out.

i would be really careful... next time he offers to take you to the bus stop just keep saying no... if he does not give up, then that tells you that he wants to do something... if that is the case, he probably wanted to earn your trust first, then once you trust him, he'll see how far he can go... maybe next time he'll offer to drive you home.. you never know.... just be careful... there are a lot of creepy people now.

You're actually not supposed to accept rides from strangers, and you don't even know him that well

If its someone from around town and sees your regular, he's being kind, but you really can't tell. Ask people who know him

if he does it again and you are interested ask him if he would like to meet you for coffee or some thing, your treat, to repay him for his kindness. He may be sweet on you, or he may be a nice guy, in which case friends are always good to have.

good luck
