I passed my test on Thursday (yaaaay), and have started looking for my first car. I need an automatic. Any ideas for what I could get/look at?

I can spend around £2500-3000 tops, I just want a hatchback really, don't mind 3 or 5 door. I'm 24 so something that's not ridiculous to insure. It needs to be available in automatic. I'm in the UK. Just after some suggestions.

A '92-'95 or '96-'00 generation Civics would make excellent cars. They come in hatchback styles, automatic, and are great on gas. They only con is that they don't have much go.

I would look for an automatic Astra/Focus as its safer not to have a small car - these should be in your budget as Auto versions of these cars are quite common.

Just remember now you've passed you can now begin to really learn how to drive, good luck.

Hiyah Girlie

Well done on passing your test, in my experience i would advice a VW Golf as your trusted, safe first motor. If you looked into it you will find insurance companies will state that it is the least car involved in accidents/incidents.
Along with its classy, stylish look, its safety specifications speak for themselves...................enjoy.

to date as i comprehend, whoever "hits" has the legal duty or is "at fault". In different words, coverage agencies and regulation enforcements standpoint is, "when you're following each and every of the regulations of the line and safe practices, there is under no circumstances any reason to hit something." Now, if there became ice on the line, which could atleast make issues lean extra on your want, yet i imagine you'll have a image taken that day of the stretch of street you slid on. it really is why they are putting forward you ought to continually have atleast a disposable digicam on your vehicle to take a image of an coincidence and coincidence scene on the day of the coincidence, alongside with a cellular telephone, your coverage training, driver's license and registration. with somewhat of luck you've vehicle coverage that ought to pay even even if it is your fault, or if not, various of acquaintances and family contributors that ought to help you in this time of disaster. there is various of alternative aspects to think about: became both of the drivers using at the same time as impaired, or in a hurry, did both go away the scene of the coincidence earlier regulation enforecement arrived, what kind of autos were in contact, did both have vehicle coverage-dl license-registration-and so on... So with somewhat of luck, perhaps there is different aspects that are on your want the following. In both case, that's a take-heed call to continually force appropriately and defensively and shop as a lot area between you and different shifting autos or products as plausible, have a seat belt on, and haven't any distractions like listening to the radio, eating, ingesting, speaking on a cellular telephone, and so on... i comprehend all this because i have been using for years now, and characteristic absolutely been in some injuries. In each and every coincidence except one, someone hit me and for some reason none of them even had a driver's license!!!! contained in the coincidence the position I hit someone, I rear ended someone, in simple terms like you probably did. So considering I "hit", it became my fault, even although that the vehicle in the front of me stopped short and rather quick, not giving me any time to end. the absolutely ingredient that kept me became that the vehicle I hit left the scene of the coincidence, and, from what I understand, it became some kind of coverage scam on the component to the different driver.

you should get a corvette, even though it is a little pricey. I mean it is rediculous money, but it is a really cool car. A corvette is a good vehicle too. and make it red or black.
