well, at first if you want to get a haircut you should know that you really wanted to be like that, you can wear a wig for a time so it grows, than you can cut it, how, i don't know, go to a good hairstylist that can help you.

Go to a curly hair specialist for a curl cut. No kidding! My family owns a salon and we have people who are specially trained to cut curly hair.

Most hairdressers screw up curly hair by cutting layers into it, or cutting it all the same length at the bottom, which makes it bell-shaped. My curly hair is down to my waist and totally manageable due to the special cut which takes out thickness, but not length, and doesn't add layers.

Also, if you end up with a cut you aren't satisfied with, go back and complain - nicely. The salon wants your business and any reputable place will bend over backwards to correct the problem. If they don't, find a better salon. When you find a good hairdresser, you'll see that curly hair can really be beautiful and doesn't NEED to be straightened all the time!

Good luck!

Try a Ceramic Flat Iron it would look great if your hair is thick with layers! Also, you could try flipping the back all up with some side swept bangs, really cute!

You can try to have it corrected, but you can not add any length. There are nice short haircuts too, especially if you want something easy when you are in a hurry to get to work.

not much you can do but let it grow back out. Look around for hair styles like yours and make a change if possible
