Recently I met a guy. The first impression that he gave me was the he was oldfashion of it's way of apperance...but when I had a chance to talk with him he was really smart and yet we comunicate very well. And he is interested on me. He told me that he cares about me, and wants to know me better.Family where I come from are high intellectual and with class...and his family is very traditional. Has anyone similar experience, can this work, having in consideration that we have different backgrounds ??

of course it can! sounds like you two could at least learn alot from each other...I would approach this as a friendly thing and if it goes further at least try it on for size...don't worry about the differences, work through the differences. Just accept him for who he is. He will do the same for you.

traditional vs intellectual and high class? Could you be more vague? How are these different? Do you mean conservative vs liberal? or What?
