Jesus is not God. He never claimed to be God. At John 3:17, does it say that God came to earth? No. It says that God sent his Son, not himself.
The scripture you used at John 8:58 is another trinitarian "proof" that Jesus is God. But is it? The expression at John 8:58 is quite different from the one used at Exodus 3:14. Jesus did not use it as a name or a title but as a means of explaining his prehuman existence. Hence, note how some other Bible versions render John 8:58.
1869: "From before Abraham was, I have been." The New Testament, by G. R. Noyes.
1935: "I existed before Abraham was born!" The Bible—An American Translation, by J. M. P. Smith and E. J. Goodspeed.
1965: "Before Abraham was born, I was already the one that I am." Das Neue Testament, by Jörg Zink.
1981: "I was alive before Abraham was born!" The Simple English Bible.
1984: "Before Abraham came into existence, I have been." New World Translation of the Holy Scriptures.
Thus, the real thought of the Greek used here is that God's created "firstborn," Jesus, had existed long before Abraham was born. Colossians 1:15; Proverbs 8:22, 23, 30; Revelation 3:14.
Again, the context shows this to be the correct understanding. This time the Jews wanted to stone Jesus for claiming to "have seen Abraham" although, as they said, he was not yet 50 years old. (Verse 57) Jesus' natural response was to tell the truth about his age. So he naturally told them that he "was alive before Abraham was born!
There is no Bible verse that says Jesus is Almighty God.

Now, I've tried getting into all this religious bollocks, and I just cant get past a very fundamental thing on about, Oh, page 1? This is an old conundrum, but it still baffles me.....if Adam & Eve were the first people created, and they had 2 sons, Cain & Abel.....where the hell did they go when they left?
If ANYONE can answer this question to my complete satisfaction; then I will convert to some form of religion right now!
Best answer so far.....?
When you watch a movie, the director dosen't introduce EVERY SINGLE character.....they just make up the story as it happens??
Wherever Cain & Abel went & whoever they pro-created with, those must be pretty ******* major characters in anyones story right.....considering the history of thw world & everything?
The bible, Jesus & God are ****

Glad to see some people cannot be brainwashed and start asking question if something does not make sense.
First off all it should read that Jesus made himself 'invisible', a gift he had. Second: Jesus was archangel Michael incarnated on earth. Some religions know this, but they keep it to themself not to be stoned by Chrstians who have been brainwashed to believe otherwise. Jesus said: 'What I am, you are!'
So either he is not God because we are not God, or if he is God then we would be God as well according to his own words. Right?
Well almost right. Fact is that the archangels are the 'sons of God' and they are the parents of the angels. Mankind are angels incarnated; except the few archangels that are on regular interval on earth, like Michael was Enoch, Jesus, Nostradamus and Abraham Lincoln, to name a few of his incarnations. Rafael was Elijah, Santa Claus, John the Baptist, Francis of Assini to name a few. Gabriel was Moses, Mohamet...Uriel was Noah, Apostle Matthew...Ariel was Moses Amram and Joshabel, Mary and Joseph..., Israel was Satan, Salomon...to name a few.
When on earth archangels and angels alike are seperated into two; hence we are all looking for our other half called twinself. That is the one and ONLY true love and the one and ONLy man/wife God will marry us to. All other choices of man/wife are our own choice and hence there are so many divorces...
and by the way: Mary concieved during 'petting'; hence she was still a virgin and 'The Holy Spirit' is female (used to stand in the bible), hence God made no mistake when he created women in HER image...
Abraham was an angel, a son of Rafael, and hence he was AFTER the archangels/Jesus/Michael...
Enough for now...

Your ignorance is stupendous ! ! !
It is certainly blind and looks to be wilful.
Since God had foreordained His Son's death on a cross and foretold this in some detail through His prophets, then palpably this was not the right way nor time for Him to die.
He did not hide Himself nor run away as the record, even you quote, makes plain. That He passed through the midst of those so enraged and intent upon killing him is plainly a miracle of the Father's provision to protect Him until the right time and manner of His sacrifice, which Christ willingly and obediently accepted. Even the Devil knew of this protection and misquoted it from Psalm 91/11 in his temptation of Christ in the wilderness.
The terrible pain and suffering endured on the cross far exceeds that of mere stoning even if you only measure the physical, but the spiritual suffering of the punishment of God's judgement upon the cross, rightly deserved by us, was infinite.
Your particular quotation rather proves the point since Christ is plainly declaring Himself to be older or pre-existent to Abraham, and the choice of God's most holy name, "I AM" makes His claim to be God absolute. That is why the Jews took up stones to stone Him for what they thought was blasphemy.
You entirely miss the point in your blind and bigoted attempt to discredit Christ.
Talk about not seeing the wood for the trees. Phew !

John a million:a million-5 And the know-how became God. John 10:30 I and My Father are one. John 14:5-9 in case you have considered Jesus, you have considered the daddy. John 10:30-33 Jesus himself declared Himself to be God. John 10:17, 18 No guy takes the existence of Jesus, yet He lays it down. And He has ability to take it up. a million tim. 6:P14-sixteen Jesus has immortality. in basic terms God has immortality. in basic terms some strategies. no longer an exhaustive study on the issue. Jesus is God, however the daddy became extra effective than him because of the fact he became in the flesh, and his father in the spirit. Jesus became made below angels as he humbeled himself, God in the flesh(a million timothy 3:sixteen), who gave his existence for ours(a million john 3:sixteen). extra: I did, yet I knew the verse you have been talking approximately besides.

Jesus was only a son of god. Why?
Christians simply treat Jesus Christ as son of God and not God Almighty himself or a manifestation of God Almighty in human form. They are absolutely clear about this facet of Jesus Christ. No ambiguities please!
It is a different matter that in terming Jesus Christ as son of God Christianity negates the existence of Jesus Christ himself. God Almighty is pure energy. It does not have a form. The question of God Almighty having a son does not and cannot arise.
God Almighty never manifests. God Almighty has ever been a Dhrista onlooker. It never interferes with the creation of his. Neither ever! God Almighty also does not have a form. We cannot see God Almighty but his presence can always be felt like the smell of a flower. Read more here- http://www.vijaykumar.com/who_is_jesus_christ.html

You forgot John 10:24-39, especially verse 36. Jesus is NOT God almighty. He is the Son Of God! There is but ONE God and His name is Jehovah! Not Jesus or Michael, But JEHOVAH! When are you people going to begin to study the word of God? Instead of taking the word of you pastor or priest as if were the gospel straight from the mouth of God? Study, Study, Study.

If He were just a man, then how did He hide himself and still go through the midst of them and pass away?
If you were going to stone someone, and they were standing right there, how is it possible for them to just walk away?
I think perhaps you have just added more proof that He was not just a man.

It was not His time. prophecy meant He had to be crucified. He could have destroyed them all with a word, but did not because of His merciful nature. In any case, He was saying He was the aspect of God who spoke to Moses.
