Nope. No relation. Unfortunately, KP is just a condition you are born with. Try a lotion with a high percentage of lactic acid (brand name Lactate) and apply this every day, up to 2 times per day. It will take a couple weeks for you to start seeing an effect. Once you stop, your KP will come back as well. The lotion basically helps get rid of dead skin build-up to minimize the appearance of KP; it doesn't cure it. No other cure or prevention I know of related to diet. And don't pick at it - it makes it worse!
