i am trying to concieve. i am currently monitoring my cervical fluid and cervix, when today i found a bump on the outside of the cervix not painful and this is very new ie less than 24 hours. I am 4 days away from my period. My friend who has a little boy says it can bee linked to pregnancy due to hormonal changes Is this true has anyone else experienced this?

It cannot be the mucus plug because it is a solid lump non tender on the outside of the cervix, round but smaller that a pea.

you take a pregnancy test.it is difficult to come to a conclusion that you have got pregnancy just because of the bump on outside of cervix.you take preg color test,or gravindex test.4 drops of urine is required to take these test.for preg colour test, 1 day after missing the period is enough and for gravindex test,2 to 5 days is required. or after 7 days you can take Elisa test.

Okay, I am going to guess that it is the mucus plug that has formed, because you are PREGNANT!

(Congratulations!)
