I was driving through he country and saw that farmers tilled the stubble into the topsoil and left the ground chunky and dark...on a regional and world level, the amount of farm land left fallow in this way is huge (I saw a satellite image) I know the farmers want to incorporate this stubble in so that it composts and makes better soil, but the fields are left like this from the end of September to April...the amount of unnatural warming isn't as much as CO2 (I would suppose) but I'm sure the heat absorbed and not reflected into space because of this must be significant
