I usually limit my searches to the following 3 stores:

http://www.bhphotovideo.com
http://www.ritzcamera.com
These places are reliable, won't give you a hastle if you want to return something, and usually have the best prices anywhere.
Since the XT is a discontinued model, everyone is offering wildly different prices to clear their inventory. Beach currently lists the XT body for just $515 with free shipping.

I'd look on ebay first....and then you can't find one there, just surf the internet for different stores
