If you temperature is consistantly in the 95/96 degree range, i would ask you doctor about being tested for hypothyroidism. The most common symptom is low body temperature along with weight gain, headaches, and an intolerance to cold. There are many many women who have this disorder and don't even know it. the tests you would want are TSH and T4 free. also, if you are hypothyroid the meds are really cheap.

That is not a fever, that is hypothermia. If your temp is that low, try drinking hot liquids and taking a warm bath. Afterwards wait 30 minutes and take your temp again. If it is still that cold, you need to see a dr about low body temp. Could be a serious issue but not a cold.

No. Especially if you don't feel particularly sick, you probably aren't. On the other hand, if you really don't feel good, go see a doctor. It could be something worse than a cold.

It may be an inaccurate reading. User error is common. The thermometer must be under the tongue.
