xitel inport.....is just a small box that is linked between computer and your vcr or stereo and is connected to a usb port. It has all the connections and 100 feet of cable included. It works very well.
Look for the inport.

Easiest is "windows movie maker".
free but powerful option is "virtual dub" software.
if you have nero cd burner, they have built in video editor too.
