I haven`t heard that word in years. Yes it is throat related. I had quite a few bouts of Quinsy when I was a child. Perhaps that is what they called tonsillitis back then. I had to have my tonsils and adenoids removed because of it.

I had particularly some bouts of Quinsy after i substitute right into a sprint one. probably that's what they prevalent as tonsillitis returned then. I had to have my tonsils and adenoids eradicated thinking the certainty that of it.

Quinsy sore throat was the problem which we call Strep throat now. Without antibiotics, it was commonly fatal. I lost an ancestor to this.
