You silly, anybody can talk to the dead, but it does tend to be a one sided conversation.

They've proven this accurately through scientific studies at the University of Arizona. I am not making this up. The accuracy rates of these psychics range but I think some were as high as 80-85% accurate. They are human also, you can't expect 100% when it comes to human performance. Again, these were under controlled scientific conditions. Their website is http://veritas.arizona.edu/ if you are interested. I'm not saying every proclaimed psychic has this gift, but I do think there are real ones out there.

By the way, Jesus talked with the dead, it's in the Bible.....why couldn't others do it today?

It's a comfort thing.

People cope with loss in many different ways. One way is to subconsciously make themselves believe that they can still talk or contact the one they lost.

It brings them peace of mind in most cases. However others exploit this, and some go mad from it.

It's a psychological thing, a defense mechanism that helps people cope with grief, it's a more pleasant alternative to actually admitting your loved one is and gone with. Most of the time it doesn't do anyone any real harm...

But it can.

No-one can talk to the dead, sweetheart, not even God. And I personally do not know a single person who believes otherwise.

Where are you getting those millions from?

Schwartz at the university of arizona is a disgrace to science. He is not using scientific methods; he picks which data he will use (those that support his aseratations) and throws away the masses of data that refute him. None of his experiements have been reproduced, which makes them useless. Virtually no credible scientists will touch him with a ten-foot pole - it's amazing he still has a job at all.

No one can talk to the dead. They are either delusional or making it up in order to con money out of gullible, greiving people. That's about as bad as you can get.

When people believe they can talk to the dead they reinforce their idea that there is an afterlife. Most people crave validation of their beliefs.

Jesus said: In the last days " many false prophets shall arise and deceive many".

"For such are false apostles, deceitful workers, transforming them selves into apostles of Christ. And no marvel for Satan himself is transformed into an angel of light". (2 Corin.11:13)

The Bible says: "Beloved, believe not every spirit, but try the spirits, whether they are of God... because many false prophets are gone out into the world". (I John 4:1)

People believe what they want to. People want to talk to their loved ones and there's no hope of doing that if they don't believe in phycics.
