If it tastes better hot, obviously it does not taste the same cold.

Because it has a stronger aroma when hot as it cools the aroma lessens and since smell and taste are so closely related hot coffee and warm foods taste better.

Hot coffee is fresh. You need hot water to brew coffee. Cold coffee is therefore older so does not taste so good.

I do not find coffee tasting the same when its cold.
When its cold I taste the bare bitterness of it.
When its cold, its probably been laying in a cup for a longer period of time.
Maybe that does something to the taste of it, not just because its cold.

When it is cold the aroma is not there. coffee does taste good cold when served as a iced mocha frappachino, with an extra shot of chocolate.

Because that might be just your taste. Some people like it hot. some people like it black, some like it milky... it just depends.
