I thought "tartan" referred to a plaid. Was this meant as humour? (See, I even spelled humor as if I were British! We Americans are SOOOO accommodating!)

Hobie shop, or go to some store that deals with just paint they can combine colors to get just what you want. (you might want to take a sample piece with you)
