Not officially from the police. Try the local newspaper records, if you know his name, then its easy.

I'm not sure you can legally obtain criminal records, but you can apply to the police for any details that you may be able to see under the Freedom Of Information Act. You'll have to fill in a form, if you google it you'll find the official website.

Unfortunatly the information of a personal criminal record is classified and can only be given to employers after requesting a CRB police check, fortunatly the national census allows you to read the criminal records of a deceased person as long as they have been deceased for a minimum of 10years

You will have to look in public recoreds of the trial. You can not obtain a criminal record you own or anothers.

court records never used to be accessible in the UK but thanks to a chnage in the law they now are - less fortnately there was a last min appeal by the law society which stopped this law being implimented retrospectively (ie its only future record which are affected)

Agree with others the best way is to look at local newspapers, because of the time they may not be available online so you may need to visit the local public library who will have back copies

If he is your ex why do you care?

Go to zabasearch.com. It'll cost you about 20 bucks for a 24 hour access.

Try your local Courthouse. If this was a matter of public record you should be able to find it there. Glad you said he is an ex!

I don't know about the UK, but you can try a records search for money, of course. The deeper they have to go, the more it will cost.

you can check out old newspapers and find out small stuff, maybe go to court check records, but you won't find out much on arrest records, they're confidential.
