Start saving for back surgery now. That way you'll have the 2-3 thousand for the surgery when it's back finally gives out.

My first tip is that in most of the US it is illegal to sell a puppy less than 8 weeks. Take it to the vet right away to be sure it is healthy. Small breeds especially do best to stay up to 12 weeks with their litter. You're food is little more than by-products and corn. Also it has menadione in it which can cause liver cancer in dogs. Try something better like Innova.

Crate train crate train crate train. I adopted both dogs from rescue situations and they were both older than 1yo. They didn't love the crate idea at first, but since it's become a way of life. My younger dog crates voluntarily and on command (it's been 3 months). Last night we broke the rules and she slept with me. I got up in the middle of the night to attend to one of our cats, and she bonked her head trying to get into her closed crate. She didn't want to get up for the cat, she just wanted to go to her bed.

Just google Crate Training and you'll get a tons of information. Just remember, if you can't keep an eye on the dog, it should be crated until it's fully potty trained.

Well I don't have one, but I have a small dog. Crate train, take them on walks, and give it a lot of love and care. Also, make sure that puppy is always in your sight. You don't want to take rishs with something that small.

My parents use to breed these while i grew up. Yes they are talkative, but usually as a guard dog. They are great family pets. make sure everyone watchies when they step and treat them like a famly member. they love to sit up high on things so they can see thier domane. They are very regal in that aspect.

keep a close eye on them and keep a close eye on their back as they grow up because they are so long, it can lead to back trouble. also, they are yippy so try to make them bark less.
