as quickly as I fed my daughter on formulashe used to go through with constipation alot, so i substitute into continuously cautioned to supply a pair of ozof cooled boiled water formerly each fed and this helped alot. try it and you notice an progression, yet i wouldnt provide your toddler something, like what the human beings have pronounced on the grounds which you will in basic terms make the situation worse. if the project dosent sparkling up after approximately 2 days eating the boiled water then i could take your toddler to the medical doctors.

This is normal, and can happen at any age for any reason so don't feel you have to justify yourself about changing to formula. Try lightly massaging her feet from her sole to her toes a few times on each foot a few time through the day, and she will 'go'. This is a tried and tested reflexology technique and I have used it a thousand times over on friends and family. Also gently rub her tummy in a circle starting from her right to left, as this moves things on a bit to.If she hasn't been for a couple of days then see your health visitor who can recommend something medical. Good luck sweetie

She might need a special formula. My little one had the same problem when she was born. I had to use Nutramigen by Enfamil. It got so bad that she would hardly eat and would just scream and cry all the time. It wasn't till about 4 months when I couldn't take it any more and just "tried" the Nutramigen. I had a NEW child! She drank all her bottle and no more crying or constipation! You might want to talk to your Dr. about it and see what they say.

Try giving her just water regularly, in a bottle like you would formula or milk. It will help w/the constipation. And she'll have a more balanced diet, and be healthier. I've heard it said many times. And it has worked. I'm no mother, but my mum gave it to me when I was a babe, & it helped. I hope that helps!!

Do you feed your baby anything but formula? Try whizzing up some steamed vegetables in a blender. Spinach, parsley, turnips and carrots ought to do the trick. NO SALT. Just peel and chop the veg, and boil or steam it for about 7 minutes. Drain any water. Blend it, and add a tablespoon of good quality virgin olive oil. let it cool down and make it fun to start eating yummy veg. Vary the veg you use but make a point of starting your baby on good food now. This will stand your child in good stead for all their future years and should make bowel trouble a thing of the past. Any extra can be kept in the fridge in an airtight container for 24 hours.
Good luck

First, Congratulations on your baby!!! One thing that i was taught was to rub their belly from the right side to the left as if half moon, going around from right continue till to you reach the left side, circular motions. We use it with patients(seniors) that are constipated, and is used with children too. You can elevate both legs up to her belly after doing the circular movements..going up and down with her little legs. This will stimulate the baby to go.
Good luck, and once again...CONGRATS!!!

As a mother of four grown ups and four grand children the answer is simple give your baby extra fluids in between bottles do not increase the amount of water you put in her feeds. but the one on fresh fruit juice is also a good idea but on Monday check with health visitor if shes not any better.congratulations and all the best

I think you need to speak to your midwife, health visitor or surgery nurse, Make sure your daughter gets drinks as well as food, don't think of formula as both. I don't think adding more water to formula is a good idea as everthing she eats will then feel like a drink and fill her stomach up for only a little while

Yeah , the added water can help break down some of the impacted stool, and also if she does not have a bm in 24-48 hours I would take her into the dr.
