He has been biting his nails since he was little.It irritates me when he does that.How can I get him to stop?

I have had friends that had this habit as well and one of my friend's father would give her $10 if she went the whole week without biting her nails. However, that might get too expensive for you. Another possible solution you could use on him is painting disgusting tasting stuff on his nails so that it will keep him from biting them. I have heard this from friends of mine and seen this idea in a few psychology magazine articles. Also, you could try putting bandaids on to cover his nails but that doesn't always work because some people's habit is so bad that they will take all the bandaids off and you will constantly be going through them. Also, I just want you to know this is considered a nervous habit, so you may want to just talk to him and find out what is bothering him or stressing him out. You may need to be more understanding of him right now. He may be going through alot and this is the only he can deal with the stress. Just try to be supportive of him. After all, I think we all have some kind of nervous or bad habits that get on other people's nerves. I hope this has helped you. Good Luck!

If he knows it irritates you and keeps biting his nails, what does that tell you. He'll have to quit on his own. Has nothing to do with you.

be4 growing his nails , the imp thing must know is why he is bitiing his nails..
there r a number of reasons of reasons to be told......and most phsycologists say thst also
1) depressions and tension: the guys must be nervous bout somthing (but hat might not be a reson since he is with u :) )
2)the guy'z parents: they might be a quarrelling pair....it is said that if a child has problems with his parents espaically with his father... he starts to bit his nails.......
check these reasons .....if nun of them comes to b true then it might just be a bad habit that he cant get rid of........

Tell him if he touches his nails you wont have sex with him.
