Eloquently put by "barkleyvader". I think it's pretty safe to assume that a big piece of metal with the words "NO ENTRY" is a sign - usually of the kind they put over abandoned mine entrances, or one-way ramps. I hope there wasn't too much damage to your vehicle.

I think it is a sign you do need to stop and fully examine any doubts or questions you have in your mind about your beliefs, and make sure these are resolved where you feel at spiritual peace. When you rise above the trappings of material life and death, that is when you realize the Kingdom of God which is always among us.
I come from a traditional Vietnamese Buddhist family, where I believe the teachings have been practiced in a limited way. I believe more openly that Buddha prophesied the coming and return of Jesus Christ, so that Jesus fulfills Buddha's teachings for the gentiles equally as he fulfills Mosaic scripture for the churched tribes. In the meantime, I believe that those who have followed Buddha but did not fully receive Christ are saved "indirectly" through the prayers of future generations who will later accept and teach Jesus as fulfilling the Buddhist lineage. So since Jesus saved souls by descending into the realms of earth and hell across all time and space, some of the faith and prayers of future generations are part of the salvation process for past souls, the same way the faithful prayers of past ancestors have blessed the future successors. The same way past and future karma is linked across time, so is the salvation that breaks the cycle of karmic sin and suffering of all humanity collectively in Christ. All these prayers are joined and fulfilled in Christ so that are all souls are saved at some point in time. Anything evil or false carried in the spirit that is not of God is burned away in the process and ceases to exist. Only the truth and love of God is eternal and thus remains.
So if you are at peace with this level faith in Christ, then your families' prayers and your prayers together establish the Kingdom of God on earth as it is in heaven. See Matthew 18:15-20 wherever two or three agree on anything touching the earth it is done by our father in heaven. So if you pray to forgive anything in the past that may hold anyone back from entering heaven, and agree that it is done in Christ, your faith and prayers invite God in to make it so. Amen.

Yeah, definitely a "sign" No entry you saw.
It may result from mine explosion/bomb explosion of some parts of the land, and scrap of metal just landed on your vehicle as you are nearby.
But if you mean..
- your grandfather spirit warned you...that`s too violent for a spirit (which seldom happens), too vague for a message to a beloved grandson/daughter, and spirit usually just try to WHISPERS (like ...you are thinking about it)
- that goes the same with God`s spirit...they whispers like your formed thought, but the last say is always your free will. It can be assessed too as unlikely from the Gods...because too violent.
- or it may come from violent spirits living in that area...that they want to tell you physically...get lost, these area are ours, we don`t like intruders. Since they`re in spirit forms, they exert so much effort to throw it to your vehicle for you to see. They might have done it to others too.
- and many other meanings more.
Well, anything is possible, and the ruler of the world is...satan
You need to argue ???
Just be careful, ask God`s guidance all the time.

It was a message, have you tried making anagrams with the letters in NO ENTRY.
When I turn on my computer I get words coming up that seem to mean things sometimes too, I find that quite spooky.
