and if so, why? why wouldnt you tell your mates or do something about it? is it coz he's taken and you cant do anything about it? what other reasons could it be for someone keeping their crush on someone a secret and not sharing with their friends? does every1 tell their crush they fancy them? i havent for yrs.

no because then you would never know if they like you back. isnt worth finding out if they like you back. if you keep it a secret you will always wounder if they like you back. its worth finding out.

As a teenager I did but I don't really know why. Fear of rejection, maybe? I started dating my husband in high school, but I had a crush on him for a whole year before we started dating. Part of my reason for keeping it secret was because I was trying to get myself out of a messy relationship at the time, and the other part was because I was afraid he only saw me as a friend. The good part of that was that by the time we actually started dating, we already knew each other well and were comfortable with each other.

i keep it a secret if i know there isnt a chance,but i always tell my best friend who i fancy,and then if i feel comfortable i will tell my other friends,the ones that i trust. you only have one life and i intend to never regret anything.i have a crush on someone right now and i have invited him to my 15th bday party so we can get to know each other and if all goes well i will hint that id like to go out with him sometime.my point is that you shouldnt keep it a secret unless there is an absolute reason for it.better be safe than sorry

Tell him you like him...never keep crushes secret because you may be missing out. What if he likes you too and he's shy...then you've missed out on a golden opportunity and you may never get a second chance. I've been around enough to know that if you don't act on a feeling then you'll lose out, in one of two ways, either they'll like you back and you'll go out or then don't and you can move on.

I'm married now, but i used to try to keep it quite, but it never worked i'm to obvious, ur obviously a thinking person not a feeling type. I am very jelous, i think it's great that u can have that much self control.
I guess other reasons would be anything to do with it not being appropriate or embarresment if he's a bit of a knob

Having a secret crush can be fun!!
I have found that the fantasy of the crush is often much more satisfying than the reality of getting the man!!

Yeah.i have kept my crushes secret many times.Most of them dont even know to this date that i had a crush on them.Sounds silly though.I kept it secret from everybody coz my crush wasnt interested in me.so i thought it wasnt worth telling my mates about it coz its not possible to make some one love me.All what i can do is be someone who can be loved,the rest is upto the person to realise my worth.This happened thrice.My fourth crush was a moviestar,He was totally inaccessible to me.That's why i kept it secret.Thought of writing to Oprah and get him on the show,But came to know that he had a gf.so gave up on him.

If u have a crush on someone who already has a partner there can only be harm by telling. Keep it as a private fantasy. You are better off concentrating on someone who is obtainable.

in my experience a crush is just that it lasts a little while and you have some nice dreams about them then someone else comes along and you get a lottle crush on them for a while so yes i would keep a crush quiet because it will fade in time

i never keep it a secret. i tell EVERYONE!!!!!
and i love to let him know with little hints just to confuse him and see if he catches on. i play this game for as long as possible b4 it gets really direct.
I write on his paper while he goes 2 the bathroom
I ask him if he's gay, lol
i do weird things and say hi at randomly times.
