The Babel Fish.

"The Babel fish," said The Hitch Hiker's Guide to the Galaxy quietly, "is small, yellow and leech-like, and probably the oddest thing in the Universe. It feeds on brainwave energy not from its carrier but from those around it. It absorbs all unconscious mental frequencies from this brainwave energy to nourish itself with. It then excretes into the mind of its carrier a telepathic matrix formed by combining the conscious thought frequencies with nerve signals picked up from the speech centres of the brain which has supplied them. The practical upshot of all this is that if you stick a Babel fish in your ear you can instantly understand anything said to you in any form of language. The speech patterns you actually hear decode the brainwave matrix which has been fed into your mind by your Babel fish.

"Now it is such a bizarrely improbable coincidence that anything so mindboggingly useful could have evolved purely by chance that some thinkers have chosen to see it as the final and clinching proof of the non-existence of God.

"The argument goes something like this: `I refuse to prove that I exist,' says God, `for proof denies faith, and without faith I am nothing.'

"`But,' says Man, `The Babel fish is a dead giveaway, isn't it? It could not have evolved by chance. It proves you exist, and so therefore, by your own arguments, you don't. QED.'

"`Oh dear,' says God, `I hadn't thought of that,' and promptly vanished in a puff of logic.

"ok so technological information proves God incorrect," No, technological information would not. you at the instant are not paying interest. And Hawkins with the aid of all debts is an atheist. additionally, the severe majority of the country's appropriate scientists are the two agnostic or atheist. in case you pick to play a numbers recreation, then you definately're the guy who loses.

Well, I can't prove you wrong because you are not far off. Jesus himself said that he is the son of God and we are all God's children - and many religions reinforce that same message. We are all beloved children of the Universe (god jr.s perhaps) and we have all the same powers as the gods we create. If God is an ocean than we are all just glasses of God.

This is important because it removes us from the realm of subservient, naughty dolls to multi-faceted co-creators of our lives and the world around us. It takes us from "what did I do that God is punishing me" to "what am I doing that is holding me back". Very important and very empowering, don't you think?

Peace!

I won't even try to prove you wrong...

I'll support your idea and I'll add that we are all equally gods and there is none higher than the collective "God" which is mankind.

Moreover, there are none among us who posses any form of spiritual power or ability greater than another... we are all virtual equals.

While it is yet to be seen weather there are other life forms of greater or lessor ability to be found in our vast and ever-changing infinite universe, the question must remain open; however, the existence of super-naturalness, both earthly and extraterrestrially, is a dead question - the likelihood is nil.

loosely speaking, we are "God" ...and 'Yes' you are a god.

OK. IF you are God then what am I thinking I would like you to do right now?
That too hard for you? Then how about a simpler task, create for me a big red and white jackrabbit with blue stripes, and make it appear right outside of my window, right now. Now that should be a simple task for God. You should be able to do this with half of you brain tied be hind your back.

We are all equal spiritually....so, if you are a god, then we all are. How does it feel, to know you can create your own heaven here? What will you do to make this a better place?
